Members of Redwood Class who did not attend the Tag Rugby Tournament on Wednesday had a very busy day in our school garden area. They spent the day clearing beds, planting seeds and brightening the area up with a coat of paint.
What a fantastic job they have done, well done everyone!
Wow! What fantastic entries have come in from pupils and staff for the decorated egg competition. We are waiting for a few late entries – judging will take place tomorrow (Thursday).
Wow! what fantastic Home Learning Projects were produced by Larch Class yesterday.
Lots of time and effort has been put into their National Parks, both from the children themselves and from parents / family members who have helped them. So a big ‘thank you’ goes to everyone who has helped with these amazing projects.
Everyone went outside to view the solar eclipse this morning using simple pinhole cameras. The sky was clear and we managed to view the eclipse successfully. What an amazing experience!
Cherry Class ready to view the eclipse
Josh and Archie captured an image with their pinhole camera.
Cherry and Redwood Classes shared their Home Learning Projects on Wednesday afternoon.
Cherry Class projects were based on the theme ‘Bugs’ and Redwood Class projects were based on Mexico.
The children enjoyed sharing their projects with family and friends and were also able to have a look at (and a taste of!) what the other class had produced.
Well done everyone!
