Leominster in Bloom Fantasy Garden Competition

All children were invited to take part in the Leominster in Bloom Fantasy Garden Competition.  We received a total of 24 entries which have now been collected and will be displayed at Leominster Library for the next two weeks.  Do try to pop down to the Library to have a look at all of the entries from Luston and a number of other local schools.

We received a huge variety of gardens with lots of fantastic ideas.  We will let you know the results of the competition when we have them…

Shobdon Food and Flying Festival

Well done to everyone who helped with our wildlife garden for the Shobdon Food and Flying Festival Garden Competition which was held at the weekend.  The garden looked fantastic.  There was stiff competition from the other seven schools who took part, scroll down to find out how we did…

Members of Gardening Club were busy yesterday harvesting our broad beans. What a fantastic crop.

Paralympian Visit

On Wednesday we were visited by Paralympic Archer Danielle Brown.

Danielle led a tiring, but fun, fitness circuit for all the children for which we hope to raise lots of sponsor money.  Money raised goes partly to the school for sports equipment and partly to Sports For Schools who encourage young people to live a fit and healthy life and also support GB and Olympic athletes.

Have a look on Cherry Class page for some photos of the event.  More pictures to follow.
