Thank you to everyone who supported the FLSA Disco on Friday. It was lovely to see so many of the children attending and having a lovely time.
Thanks to the high level of support, the FLSA have raised a total of £275.
Thank you to everyone who supported our pop up book sale yesterday afternoon. The children really enjoyed choosing their book(s), there was a fantastic selection for them to choose from. The school has qualified for 18 free books as a result of the number of sales.
We hope to repeat the event – hopefully with a book sale in the Summer term and once before Christmas.
We are delighted to share with you a letter received this week by the Rt Hon Nick Gibb MP, Minister of State for School Standards. This letter acknowledges the fantastic Key Stage 2 results of last summer, placing Luston School in the top 1% of schools nationally for writing and mathematics.
What a fantastic achievement.
A big thank you to the members of our Pupil School Council for hosting the Valentine Tea Shop this morning. Children in all classes enjoyed a cake and drink of squash whilst being entertained by some of the older children.
We have a total of £96.70.
All money raised will be donated to Barnardo’s.
Thank you to all children who provided the entertainment and to everyone who donated cakes.
Children are invited to bring in £2 in a named envelope to purchase a book during the afternoon.
Books will also be available after school until 4.00 pm.
We hope that you will support this event and help us to get free books for school.
