Sports Day 2015

We had a fantastic Sports Day last Friday – lots of fun new activities during the morning, followed by traditional races (with a couple of additions to previous years) for the afternoon session.

This was all rounded off with free hot dogs and ice creams – cooked and served by Luston Governors and funded by the FLSA.

In case of emergency only – if you need to get in touch with the group while they are away, please contact the school in the first instance.  Between 5.00 pm and 8.00 am, you can contact the group by phoning the Pioneer Centre on: 01299 271217.

Here is the latest news from the Redwoods at the Pioneer Centre:

Monday Morning

The excited Redwoods (and their teddies!) are now well on their way to the Pioneer Centre for their residential visit.  They have lots of fun activities to look forward to over the next couple of days.

Monday Afternoon

The travellers arrived safely after a relatively short journey.  They settled into their rooms, made their beds and had lunch.  They now have two activities in their groups before dinner time.

Redwood Flag Returns to Luston!

We were very excited to welcome MP Bill Wiggin to our assembly this afternoon. Mr Wiggin brought with him the fantastic flag designed by Redwood Class.  The flag has been flying in Parliament Square and at Runnymede, but has now come home to Luston:
