What a fantastic evening we had yesterday, with so many talented performers. A big thank you to everyone who took part.

We had a fantastic Sports Day last Friday – lots of fun new activities during the morning, followed by traditional races (with a couple of additions to previous years) for the afternoon session.
This was all rounded off with free hot dogs and ice creams – cooked and served by Luston Governors and funded by the FLSA.
What a lovely afternoon we had at our Summer Fayre. The sun didn’t quite manage to shine, but it stayed dry and lots of fun was had by all.
We were entertained by Mr Morgan’s Samba Band and members of Dance Club. The highlight for some was taking part in Mr Morgan’s football tournament – everyone who took part put in a great effort for their teams. There were lots of fantastic stalls – a big well done to members of Redwood Class for their imaginative stalls, plus thanks to everyone who helped with running stalls, setting up and clearing away. Our first balloon race was a great success and provided a fantastic photo opportunity as over 300 balloons were released.
The fayre has raised approximately £950 for the FLSA, plus a further £270 from the balloon race which forms part of our fundraising for the poultry project for Manyata School in Tanzania.
More photos to follow soon, but here are just a few:
Redwood Class spent a fantastic morning at Wigmore High School last week. The ‘Mini Masterchefs’ made Tanzanian Rice and Beans, you can find the recipe here: Tanzanian Rice and Beans .
