A huge thank you to the local volunteer who spent his morning clearing the school site and Westland View.
School will open as usual tomorrow. Depending on the conditions of the playground, children will not be permitted to go outside unless they have wellies and a waterproof coat. We look forward to seeing you all back safely at Luston!
Here are the revised dates for the Christmas performances:
In response to feedback from parents regarding the timings for the nativity play, we are doing our utmost to accommodate the needs of working parents and therefore a performance has been re-scheduled from Monday 18th to Thursday 14th December at 6pm. The two performances will therefore be at 1.45 and 6pm BOTH on THURSDAY 14th December. Thank you for your understanding and commitment regarding this.
Cherry and Willow Class performances will now take place on Thursday 14th at 1.45 pm and 6.00 pm – there will be a raffle (tickets £1 a strip) in aid of Save the Children. We hope that you will be able to join us for one or both of the performances.
Larch and Redwood Class concert will now take place during the Carols around the Tree on the last day of term – Wednesday 20th – at 9.00 am.
We hope to reschedule the visit from the Children’s Bookshelf early next term.
Friday 15th is Christmas Jumper Day – children are invited to wear a favourite Christmas jumper, or decorate one at home. School trousers / skirts should be worn as normal. We are asking for a donation of £1 for Save the Children.
Friday 15th – Nursery Christmas party (am)
